Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt condolences to Alfred's family as well to his brother HP who's been a friend of mine for many years. I just learned of Alfred's passing on Thanksgiving. I had the good fortune to be seated next to Alfred at HP's wedding some years ago and had a chance to experience his extraordinary humor, intellect and sharp wit. I am shocked and saddened by his passing.

Joan, Amanda, and Alexis, I just found out about Alfreds passing on Tue. I feel terribly about missing his funeral, and i want to extend my deepest and sincere condolences.
I met Alfred when I was his trainer while I was in grad. school in the mid 80's. 'Bubbles', as I used to call him, and I would have lunch every 6 months or so. I last saw him when we had lunch at the Friars Club in July or August. True to his character, he had his 'driver' drive me back to my office in his red toyota...

Alfred, you are sorely missed. I will miss our occasional lunches and chance meetings on intercontinental flights. My deepest condolences to Joan and daughters and the guys at the firm.

Alfred will always be with us. A man like Alfred will live on in everyone's heart. All my love, support and sorrow. Amy Leven (Roseland, NJ)

I remember 'Alfie' as a witty, intelligent, warm and witty guy. I have not seen him since high school, but the news of his passing nevertheless made me sad. My condolences to you, Michael, who I am sorry to have missed seeing at our 50th Hall/Conard reunion,

Beverly Parks Greenberg

To Alexis, Joan, Amanda and the Goldfield family, my deepest condolences on Alfred's passing. He was a fascinating individual who I simply loved to have conversations with. He had a great sense of humor and I always enjoyed myself whenever I was in his company. I will miss him dearly.
