Prayers going out for the repose of Alfred´s soul and for the Grant family and close friends in their time of grief. Alfred was not always a pastor, serving the Lord. There was a time when he was a friend and coworker with the folks he worked with the Shop 31 Machine Shop, at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Even then we knew that he was destined for something special. Alfred was a quiet man but loud enough to be heard when he had something to say and very well-liked by those that he met....
