Not sure what to say?

My mother´s doctor, brought me into the world in 1957. She always spoke very highly of him. -Jay

I will always cherish the memory of walking into the home of this precious, precious gentleman......................... walking first to greet him with a kiss and a hug.

He was so beautiful, dressed to the nines.............. his adorableness with his hat.

Always stressing the rules of the game to Allan, so seriously.......... was so amusing.

And, when I reminisce of the way he made me feel in his presence....................... I will feel his warmth and...

Dear Susie, I am so glad I got a chance to meet your father a few times, and to experience his fun-loving spirit and charm. My condolences. John Stein

This is Olivia , Dr. Heldfond’s caretaker for the last 6 months of his life. As soon as I entered into his home I immediately knew I was going to have a pleasant time with him because he was the sweetest man to talk to and to work with . When I spent time with his Susie and Theo and we were all together I knew he had a LOT of class..don’t underestimate Dr. Heldfond .

So I didn't know him for years..I didn't even get to meet his lovely wife.. HOWEVER, I did get to spend his last days on earth that is, with him... I can't explain the exact feeling that I felt inside while I was there spending time with him.. but I can say It was something oh so wonderful.. something like a warm sweet feeling inside.. he lived his life to the fullest.. and I must say at his age he was still so concerned about me and acknowledged my presents... and for what?(i thought to...

Dear Susie and Alann,
It is with mixed emotion that I offer you these sincere condolences. Within feelings of loss and sadness, I have such fond memories of your dad, Dr. H, the penultimate "old-fashioned" gentle man, who above all cherished his family, and was dedicated to the love of his life Annie. The image of a kind, compassionate and very witty soul comes to mind, but also that of a man of curiosity and knowledge, whose quiet intelligence was accentuated by his unassuming demeanor...

dear susan and allann,i always had a good time and a good laugh with your dad and still do when i think of him
lots of love to you and him yours truly benn xx

Al Heldfond was a gentle, jovial and wise man who adored his beautiful wife to the end of her life, and transitted his long retirement with good humor and grace. I will never forget the two-dad dinner in October 2003, when Al and my father, colleagues since the 1940s, sat and reminisced, while Susan and I listened, smiled and laughed. I'm so happy I sat with him at dinner last Christmas and photographed him enjoying Theo's music and Susan's dancing. So much love!
