One that comes to mind is his tossing me off his shoulders into the pool at Atherton. He was always the kindest person and always had a twinkle in his eyes. It is so sad to realize that Clary, Liz and now Alf are all gone. My best to his whole family.

Very sad to learn of Alf's passing. Best wishes and condolences to family. Alf opened the door to my publishing career in the attractions industry when he hired me to work at World's Fair magazine in 1987. I will always remember him with fondness and respect.
