Not sure what to say?

Dear Hero Family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of Alfred O. Hero, Jr. I always enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Hero at the Quebec Studies conferences that we attended over the years. What an interesting man!

Dear Family,
I just found out that your dad passed away, I am sorry to hear that. He always came in my lab and we would talking about Louisiana . He was very nice to all of us here at Preventive Cardiology. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Teresa Thomas Preventive Cardiology Lab

Dear Family,

We, exercise physiologists at Preventive Cardiology of the University of Michigan loved your Dad. He was a faithful exerciser in our cardiac rehab program, and a friend to us all.
We will miss his smile, his intellectual conversations and humor. He is surely missed by many of his fellow participants in this program as well.
Love,
Carolyn, Diane, Carla, Kari,Tom, Deanna.

Dear Hero Family,
I met your father for the first time at a Canadian Studies conference in Maine and for close to twenty years, we saw each other regularly at Canadian and Quebec Studies meetings. He was a true southern gentleman and scholar. I will never forget attending a party at his wonderful house in Belle Chasse, LA. He was a gracious host and a truly lovely man. My deepest sympathy to you all. Jane Moss, Robert E. DIamond Professor of French, Colby College

Dear Alfred, Barbara, Michelle and David:

It was a pleasure to work with your father over the past 20 years. I will miss the political and investment discussions that kept me on my toes.

Carey and I are very sad to realize that Alfred will no longer be with us. I will remember him as a man of intellect , acheivement, optimism, and wit, but overall a kind and warm person who was always fun to be around. We will be unable to make the services, but you are in our thoughts. Love, Andy and Carey King
