Not sure what to say?

It was my great privilege to have coached several BC High freshmen basketball teams with Father Hicks during the mid 1970´s. I learned so much from Father Hicks; not just about basketball but how to be a human being. Thank you Father Hicks.

Dr. Hicks led Nativity while I was there l, reading excerpts from the book of Virtues every morning. Teaching us Algebra 2. He gave the eulogy for my mother´s funeral. A solid pillar of strength to our school and a courageous leader.

Had Fr Hicks for freshman year algebra at BCHigh. He was the only math teacher that had me looking forward to class. Not only a great teacher, he was hilarious. I'm very saddened to hear of his passing and will cherish his memory.

I enjoyed Fr. Hicks' Algebra class and his no-nonsense demeanor. May he rest in eternal peace.

Fr Hicks My freshman basketball coach and mentor He taught us not only basketball but life skills we all still use today He was truly a man for others We got to see him in April and he never missed a beat . His sense of humor and wit should be taught at BCH He was truly a great person Start to finish Joe Prendergast 80

One of the great teachers and priests from BC High. Truly a man for others.

Father Hicks was a man for others, he was my freshmen basketball coach and my teacher. A friend to all with uncanny wit, personality and a vision to help all. He was the best of the best. God Bless

A good and holy priest as well as a perfect gentleman! It was an incredible privilege and honor to have worked with him. AMDG!

To Father Hicks´ Family and Religious Brothers: Please accept my deepest sympathies. I have fond memories of Father from my BC High days. He lived the Jesuit motto: of men for others. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Michael Sullivan BC High 1978
