Not sure what to say?

I was very sad to read about Al´s passing. He was a good friend of my mother Jackie Wright, who owned the Lantern Gallery in Ann Arbor where Al´s artwork was shown. Al was also my teacher in the art school at Western, then he encouraged me to apply to University of Michigan School of Art. It was a great move for me. He was a kind man and wonderful teacher, I am sure he will be greatly missed by his family.

Dear Sei and extend ed family - Shirley and I have been heartsick at the news of Al's passing. When we asked Al to join the faculty at Michigan we all knew that he was just bursting with promise and he made us all a little better by his example. He was a wonderful symbol of a powerful work ethic and a joy in the success of others. A lot of us referred to him as "Lobby Man" for his happy ability to use his powerful physique to plough a path for us at CAA meetings in cities all over the place....

Dear Sei & all of Al's children. He was a close and beloved friend to both Margaret and me. We will miss his great love of life and his work as an artist. He was a joy to be with, and his passing leaves a hole in our lives. From days on the squash court to evenings smoking ribs, great memories of a loving and beloved man. Louis Marinaro & Margaret Davis

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together with cousin Al as you celebrate a life well lived and loved.
