Play your heavenly piano while you RIH. You are missed.

You are loved ❤ and truly miss by all who knew you.

He was a ray of sunshine in high school.

From the time we first met at Van Buren and throughout the years, the Rev. Dr. Johnson was always a man of integrity and a true friend. I especially appreciated how he always visited with my family members whenever they were in the hospital.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. Alfred will be sorely missed.

I'll always remember Alfred as a smiling gentleman who was the consummate musician. He and my Godsister Claudia received music lessons from the incomparable Dr Whittimore. Alfred was usually finishing his lesson when I arrived with Claudia.

Such a man of God was Alfred. Surely his soul resides among the other angels who are making joyful music in Heaven. To his family I offer my sincere condolences and prayers during your bereavement.

During my annual visit home and to St. Timothy I was always uplifted by Pastor Johnson's message. I was extremely saddened to hear of his passing and I know that he is enveloped in our savior's loving arms where there is no pain, no sorrow and eternal life. May God bless and continue to comfort his family.

Ms. Janice, Zion, Margaret & family: I love you dearly and am praying your continued peace, strength, healing & courage. May the Lord's comforting Presence surround you now & in the days to come. **The joy of the Lord is your strength**

Just heard today, the home going of Rev. Johnson, my prayers go out to family and friends, I am a frequent member of St. Timothy's Thirsday bible Stidy and thanking God for the privilege of seeing him at the Church PicnicGod rest his soul.
