Derf, Fred, Dad. To the man who walked me down the isle to marry Jim and you were there when we reaffirmed our vows. You will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss you every day. Fly high with the Angels. You will be missed by not only me but by your grandkids too.

I miss Fred answering the phone saying,"this is not the person to whom you wish to speak", knowing I had often called to talk to my sister Lois, his wife. I knew he was a jokester the first time I ever met him. We miss his bigger-than-life personality, and his warm and generous spirit.It is good,that when we know Jesus, good-by here, is not good-by forever!

I am truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the many memories and years you shared together bring you happiness. Although we are never prepared to lose one so dear, take solace in Gods promise to comfort those who mourn. (Matthew 5:4) Happy are those who mourn since they will be comforted.
