So sorry to hear of Al passing on. As a fellow Harlan County person he will be missed. I played ball with Al on the Wolverines (Babe Ruth) and high school baseball. We also played in a lot of pick up games at Nancy Park. Al and his Dad were always encouraging and willing to give all they had for the love of the game. I remember Al's family moving in to the neighborhood at the corner of Harris and Grove. It seem like yesterday that we were in Ypsi High. Our prayers are with Al's family....
