ALFRED JOSEPH KIDDER, age 60, of Slidell, LA on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

Father of Troy Kidder(Aimee), and Thomas Kidder.

Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Arabella Kidder,Silas Kidder and his longtime companion, Marion Lee .

He was retired from Exxon-Mobil Chalmette Refinery. A former resident
of St. Bernard Parish.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy 433, Slidell, LA
on Saturday, June 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, on Friday evening June 13, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday at the church after 10:00 a.m. until service time.

So sorry to hear of Al's passing he and I traveled and played music together for awhile. I ran into him i think before Katrina and talked about maybe playing music after he retired. My condolences to the Kidder family.

This helped me a lot when I lost mom.

My deepest sympathy in your time of loss. I remember some wonderful times all of us had. Godspeed to you boys. Call me if you need anything.

I do sincerely express my sorrow & pain for Al's passing.Just always know that Dad/Al, will never be in pain,stress his self over anything & everything anymore. God has given him his wings, has brought Al home.He will sadly be missed by each & everyone of us that knew him. Don't hesitate to call me for anything. To the Kidder family: So sorry to hear of Al's passing. Al worked with my husband Wayne Maltese, at Amax Nickel in Braithwaite, La. We will keep the family in our prayers.

Time on earth is momentary so at some point we must all say farewell. There is no doubt Al is now resting in paradise. To all of his family we send our most sincere condolences.

Marion and the family of Al. Al was a good friend and neighbor. May God bestow his blessing on the family and accept Al into his Kingdom.

To the Kidder Family may you God Grant You Peace during this sad time, Alfred grew up down the street from us on Rose St. in Arabi and while I was five years younger than Alfred I've always had fond memories of Alfred, I know he was a very special friend to my brother Jules and they still spoke often up until his final days. I'm so sorry for your lost, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and May GOD. Grant You COMFORT and always know That The Lord Our Shepard and that Alfred...
