I still think of Opa and remember his lovely wife Ingrid aka Oma... what a beautiful family

I miss you Dad! I know you are now at peace and with your beloved brother Dieter, your mother, and your father. They will comfort you now as we mourn your passing. You left behind a legacy. I have learned many great life-lessons from you and will carry you in my heart forever.

I just heard of your father’s passing and wanted to send to you and your family my heartfelt condolences and deepest respects.

Despite how things turned out between us all, I never lost the genuine respect and also admiration I had for your Dad. He was a strong and positive role model for me like he was with you, your siblings and all his grandchildren. Good for him that he was blessed to live such a long, rewarding and fulfilling life....

I knew him as OPA. A very kind and gentle man who was deeply loved by his children and grandchildren. He reminded me of my own German born grandfather and just looking at him made me happy to have those memories. I grieve for his wife OMA and the family. May God grant them all comfort and peace.
