Shared many great memories with Alf and Betty-Ann while visiting my brother who was a neighbour in Birch Bay. So many great times and memories with one of the kindest, most positive people you could ever meet. He will be dearly missed. Our deepest condolences to Betty Ann and the family.

I worked with Alf at GTE/Verizon and can say he always found the positive in everyone. A very kind and generous person and a joy to work for. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

On behalf of the staff and participants of Work Opportunities, I would like to express words of comfort to Alf's family as well as express our thoughts of Alf. Alf gave new definition to the words "generous and thoughtful" and he will forever be a part of our agency. Although Alf retired from Work Opportunities many years ago, it didn't stop him from continuing to be an integral part of our lives.
