Wishing you a happy birthday daddy. It's been 4 long years without you. I miss you so much and just wish I was able to talk to you. I know you are watching over us. It gets hard sometimes not having you here, but I hope we are making you proud, I am pretty sure you would be. I miss you daddy and I do feel your presence sometimes. I love you and happy birthday!

Was trying to look you up today to call to see how you were doing. I found this obituary. It saddened my heart very much. You were very good friends with my dad for a very long time. Rest in peace Mr Alfred. Tell my dad hi for me if you see him. Much love and lots of childhood memories that will forever remain with me. Heartfelt sympathy for the rest of the family. Dad, its been seven months since God took his angel back home and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and miss you. Although its been over a month since God took you home. It feels like yesterday we were sitting at your bedside watching your fight this battle. Although we knew the end was getting closer every day it's hard to realize that you are gone. I still find myself thinking I need to go visit Dad. I miss and love you and take comfort in knowing that you are at rest and no longer suffering. I love you and miss you.

Dad, although today was the last time I would feel your touch physically I will always feel your touch in my heart. I am happy that you are finally at peace and no longer suffering but at the same time mad that you were taking away from us. You have done your job well as a father and taught us all how to love and care for each other. There will be some very tough times to get through but with your strength and knowing you are at peace you will guide us thru those times. I love you Dad and miss you. Rest in peace.

Dad today was such a hard day to get thru, but I knew it was something you wanted us to do. Looking at your empty chair was just so hard and heartbreaking. I knew you were with us and will always be but it is still so very hard. I know you are no longer suffering and at peace now. You don't have to worry about mom because we will always take care of her. I love you daddy and miss you so much!!

It doesn't matter who my father was, it matters who I remember he was….
Daddy, it's hard to believe you're gone. Although I will miss you dearly, I'm glad your pain and suffering has ended. I know grandma found you and Judy has to wait no longer. You are now another one of God's angels who was called home. I hope you know how much I love you and that no matter how old I get, I will miss my daddy.
