Not sure what to say?

I had met Al at the ALDA meetings and events over the years. He was always smiling and laughing.A very kind, gracious man. My condolences to your family. May you rest in peace. God Bless. Beth Holland

Al was a student at Curry while I was the Head Basketball Coach. He was involved with the Athletic Dept.and was always a pleasant person and a good guy. I am deeply saddened at his loss and offer my deepest sympathies to all of his loved ones.

I have no words for this tragedy. I knew Al from Curry College, we were in the same class. He was always so very kind, not a mean bone in his body. He seemed so comfortable in who he was and what god had given him. He never had an excuse or something negative to say. He was a good friend. He would listen to you and laugh with you and always wanted to be part of the social situation. We all loved Al, the entire class adored this man who had already been dealt with challenges but who...

I'm sorry for the loss of a great man, I knew him in a committee with the Coolidge Corner Theater and some meet ups with ALDAns. I'm humbled by Al's efforts of advocacy and commitment to ''right'' the wrongs. He'll be missed in the days ahead. I wish Sherrie, Al's families and dear friends strength, fortitude and peace in this time of transition. Keep the faith that Al is just on the other side peeking down on us! My best to you all.

It was 30 years ago today When Al and I graduated from Curry College. Al was a loyal and true friend and a great man. I have so many great memories of Al. Thank you for being such a great friend. God Bless. Rich Gattine

I met Al at Curry College. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I have fond memories of him on campus, on a spring break trip to the Bahamas, and at the insurance agency in Braintree where we had part time jobs. We reconnected a few years ago on Facebook and I'm so grateful for that. He called me a few months ago from FL where he was recuperating after surgery. He was in good spirits and I really thought he would be OK. We planned to get together this summer. I was stunned when...

My paths crossed with Al and Sheri at many hearing loss events and knew him as a bright, well-spoken, kind man. He will be greatly missed for his support and enthusiasm for ALDA Boston, the HLAA Walk4Hearing and other organizations. Rest in peace, Al!

Sincere condolences on the passing of a truly dedicated human being. I did not know Al as well as some others did, but over many years I ran into him regularly at many different events and activities where he made his voice heard and his presence felt. It saddens me to know I will not see him again, and I hope we all carry on in his spirit.
