Our family is so very sad to hear of Al's passing. What a treasure of a man. I grew up hearing so many marvelous stories about Al, as he and my father, Jerome Litt, were extremely close friends for so many years (going back to medical school!)
We send our deepest condolences and love to the entire family.

May you find comfort together with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Dr Moldovan very kindly shared images of some of his treasures with the YIVO Encycopedia of Jews in Eastern Europe.

As the God of King David promised him "length of days to time indefinite" may His promise to bring an end to mourning and reunite us with our loved ones bring your family a measure of comfort and hope.

Another dear friend of my father Lester and of the Levin family has passed on. Please accept our heart felt condolences. In many ways the good doctor has left a worthy legacy.
