Alfred was a good friend,my brothers and I hung around with him thru are school years and afterwards,I'm sorry I lost track of him, we were in Vietnam at the same time I also am very active with veteran causes.I was very sorry to here that he passed away.

Of all of dad's many great qualities the one he should be remembered by was his service to the country he loved. When others were protesting and carrying signs he answered the call, volunteered not drafted, to serve.he gave up his youth and innocence to a cause greater than himself. He inspired two of his children to follow him in service. Dad fought so others may know peace and freedom. He never forgot those that were left behind and those that would follow. To Honey, her children, family, friends and all that knew Al....he was a great person and will be sadly missed. We shared many good times with Al and he will live forever through those memories.
