Miss him, so. One of my fondest memories is when we last visited Stockton, my wife and I took Mr. Muller out to lunch and then he guided us on tours of Edison High School and the theater at Delta College. This was the year before he passed. He was a great teacher and human being.

The one and only time I worked with Al was when I was cast in the Woodminster Theatre (Oakland, CA) production of "South Pacific" - it was its premiere season in 1967. I remember him as efficient, professional and kind. I also remember Camilla who, as our costume mistress/designer, was amazing. A few years later, I became aware of Al's work in the community when I attended the University of the Pacific. I was fortunate to see him 13 years ago to let him know how much I appreciated him. ...

I worked with Al in his Woodminster days. He was very professional and amazing to work with. That was a wonderful time of my life being a part of his productions. I will never forget him.

Mr Muller was my favorite Senior year teacher when I joined Edison High as the AFS 1967 Foreign exchange student. He opened my eyes on the wonderful world of acting, thus imprinting my career as a PR professional for the rest of my life. He entrusted me with leading parts in the Sound of Music, Doctor in spite of himself, Dark of the Moon, giving me this way a lot of self-confidence, for which I always was grateful to him. His memory has always been vivid with me. All my heartfelt sympathy...

I had the pleasure of having Al Muller direct a play I wrote. He was able to make suggestions that became improvements and gave so much more life to my script. He included me in the readings and rehearsals and was amazing to work with. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and anyone who was fortunate enough to work with him.

My condolences to Mrs. Muller and his wonderful daughter. Mr Muller was such an inspiration to me and influenced my entire life. His faith in me as a young man led me to become lighting director at Edison High School and production manager for Othello at Delta College. I fell in love with his family during the production of A Sound of Music at Edison and while painting his house one summer. My love for him will have no end. May the light of perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
