Not sure what to say?

Miss you my good friend! Craig

Singing and paddling thru the central Adirondacks circa 1964-65...truly the good old days!

Can't believe it's been 5 years since Al moved on, I still think of him often. His legacy of being a wonderful friend, husband, father and grandfather is still preserved in the memories of all those who knew him, especially his dear loved ones. Fol di rol Al! (The painting of Al and I on an old wooden bridge in Wyoming still hangs on my family room wall, and I will gladly pass it on to his daughters if they want it. I can be reached at 518-330-6118 if the family is interested.)

Al and I continued with soccer our junior and senior years, while Bart's bad knees forced him to withdraw from competition. Al and I had the honor of being elected co-captains of the...

With an abundance of “unscheduled” time the past several months (Covid), I’ve had opportunity to contemplate quite a bit of personal history - both good and bad, happy and sad. Several things from the “good/happy” category involve you my friend...high school days and always those Adirondack/Algonquin canoe trips....we were so lucky to have done those in the mid sixties...a great time of our lives...I will always remember them, and you Alfred.

Miss you my good friend. Always. CB

I did not know Al or his family, however I can tell by the endearing notes he was a wonderful guy. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you peace in the days ahead.

Sincere condolences to the Nielsen family. My thoughts and prayers are with you ❤
