To all family members:

I'm Helen Barker, a long time friend of the Phaneufs, especially, Helen. So sorry to hear of her passing also. I have been taking care of my husband, Bob, for the past 7 years. He is an invalid; has had 3 brain tumors, but is still with us. Because of all of thes things in my life, I missed Helen's obit. I feel so bad. We lived together when we were single. She was a good friend. May peace be hers & Al's now & may they be in heaven together.

Uncle Al; a great guy... always had an ear to ear smile and told the most interesting stories. You know, it wasn't so much the stories but how he enjoyed telling them, his glow and the sheer enjoyment. I really cant remember what he said... it was how he said it... Something I will always remember! (Maybe he'll be telling his stories to the Angels above!
