Dr. Raphelson was a master teacher. I researched, wrote, and presented numerous and sundry workshops, and l always patterned my delivery after that of Dr. Raphelson, the greatest teacher l had ever met at any level of my education and training. He will always have a spot in my heart, because of his boundless love, empathy, and compation. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to visit w/ Al and Jackie in Ann Arbor a few months ago. Al and I were colleagues for 30 years at UM-Flint. I sought his counsel on matters large and small. He was fair, balanced and insightful. Most of all, he was a mensch.

RIP Dr. Ralphelson. One of two most important people in my attaining a degree from Flint UM. More than 50 years have passed since I graduated from Flint UM and my memories of Dr. R remain vivid and I will always be grateful for his wise counsel.
