Not sure what to say?

I was born and raised allentown center city. Grew up on greenleaf st. Then lived on 10th st. Now live out of state over 1000 miles away. Al was GREAT!! I remember 4.00 dollar haircuts back on the mid 90's until the late 90's. He was a good man always talk to his customers and i would walk down there after getting out of school from William Allen. Just found out about his passing today after wondering if al was still in business?

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF AL'S PASSING.
I WAS JUST BRAGGING ABOUT HAVING THE BEST BARBER AND CALLED TO SEE IF HE MADE "HOUSE CALLS" SINCE I HAD AN OPERATION IN NOVEMBER AND MAY NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE UNTIL JANUARY.
SO NOT ONLY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT HIS PASSING I FEEL SORRY TO HAVE CAUSED YOU ANY ADDITONAL PAIN BY MY CALL.
HE WILL BE MISSED GREATLY, NOT ONLY FOR HIS WORK BUT AS A KIND AND THOUGHTFUL PERSON.
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

AL FRUHWIRTH

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Al the Barber. Al has been cutting my hair for the past 23 years and I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing this morning when I stopped by his shop for a haircut. Al always did a wonderful job cutting hair and always had a great joke or story to tell. I remember telling Al a few years ago how I much I dreaded the day he would retire from cutting hair. I am so sad the day came this soon and this way. Al, you will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss, Al was such a sweet and friendly man. We truly enjoyed the brief time we spent with him, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

Dear Mrs Reimer, Al was a true Friend and an excellnt Barber. I have known him for about 30 years and on haircut days he it was always great to see him. For the past 14 years Al also cut my Grandsons hair and Al would always look after him ans see he got across 10th Street to come home. God Bless you All.

Dear Carole. We've never met you, and I was saddened to learn of Als
passing. I've had the pleasure of having my hair cut by (3) generations
of Reimers. "Pop" Reimer was the barber I went to in Hellerown when
I was a younger man.....Carl cut my hair when I lived as a neighbor on
Hottle Ave and Al later cut my hair at his shop in Allentown. I enjoyed
knowing him and his family. Condolences from myself and my wife,
Shirley (Ehrgott)...He will be missed....Edison...

Dear Carole,
We haven't seen you in many years and were sorry to read of Al's passing. I have many pleasant memories of when we worked together at Fuller Company back in the 60's. May God give you strength to endure your loss; our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mrs Reimer I am so sorry for our lose, Al was a great man. I have been coming to his shop for as long as he was there. My dad, brother and I all had Al cut our hair. He always had a joke or story to tell and made the time go fast. Sometimes we had to sit outside on the bench to get our haircut, there were so many guys waiting. We always had to check who had the best bowling scores that week. Most the time he had me beat. Al will be missed by many, he touched many peoples lives.

WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF AL'S PASSING. WE ALWAYS ENJOYED BEING IN HIS COMPANY. WE WILL SURELY MISS HIM.
