So sorry to learn of Gerhard's passing, although 7 years later. My Mother was very close friends with Gerhard and Margaret, as Margaret was her Maid of Honor in 1953. I last met Margaret and Karyn in the mid 1970s when we visited Chicago. We all went to the Museum that day. I have some great photos if the children would like copies. I still miss Mr. Richter's Saturday morning radio program. While being of German/Austrian ancestry, my parents were growing up at a time, after the First World War, when teaching German language and culture was prohibited, and I grew up with not much knowledge of German culture. My grandmother relented with me and taught me a little German, but when I found out about Mr. Richter's program, I became a devoted listener.
