Our sincerest heartfelt condolences to Alfred H. Savage Family.

Dear Savage Family,
My Father, the late Douglas Fluhrer, NPD '55 and Alf were good friends. Dad passed last year, August 01, 2014. My first call from the ICU in Kingston General Hospital was to Alf Savage. Dad and Alf would talk each week about their favourite CFL football teams (they would obviously disagree as Dad was a Ti-Cats fan) and their hockey teams. Many years had passed, yet their affection for each other had not. I know that Alf's heart was very heavy with the passing of his...

To Alf's Family,
My husband Christopher met Alf at the School of Horticulture. Christopher was an exchange student from RHS
Wisley.U.K. He was almost immediately befriended by Alf. Alf,Georgia and children visited us in Ottawa and was planning a visit to us in California when Christopher died. He was such a remarkable person. He will be sadly missed. Patricia Chowins

Carrie-May.... My sincerest condolences to; You, Len, Georgia, and to Reggie, LJ, Eric, Mike and their beautiful families. Your Dad was an incredibly strong, wonderful Man. I have such fond memories of being part of your remarkable family. My heart and thoughts are with you.

Dear Georgia, So sorry to hear about Alf. You may recall I worked with him as Director of Public Affairs at the TTC. He was quite a personality and was well liked and respected by all he worked with. We had many interesting times working together. I know how important you and your children were to him. My very best to you and your family.

My condolences to the family. May the God of all comfort provide you with the strength needed to cope with your loss.

Dear Mike and family
So sorry to hear about your loss. You have our sincerest condolences

We knew Alf at the Chicago Transit Authority. Alf always was a gentle giant and loved to take pins off of coat lapels. We were like soft flowers in his hands. By Alf, love Dave and Irma.

Savage Family, I worked with Alf for years as his Vice Chair on the Auto Insurance Board. He was always a gentleman and was a close friend. I will miss him as I am sure you will. It was fun to work with Alf. Our sympathies to the family. Harry and Debbie Gough
