Not sure what to say?

Alfred created the most beautiful wedding day one could imagine. His love and expertise for what he did was clearly evident. His smile, one we'll never forget. Truely a special man, with a special family. I know he's riding his horses in heaven.

We send our sympathy to the Sawyer family. He will be missed by you and the Town of Jaffrey.

To the Sawyer Family:

The equine world has lost a good man. The town of Jaffrey has lost a good citizen.

Alfred was always there to help me out when I needed repairs on my horse equipment. He gave sound advice when asked and shared many stories with me. I always enjoyed the conversations that we had about historic events.

Just last fall I stopped by the "Ranch" and who was there in the arena on a horse but Alfred.

WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU. HE REPRESENTED HIMSELF WELL IN FAMILY AND BUSINESS FOR JAFFREY, HE WILL GENUINELY BE MISSED..DICK & LOIS HARTWELL

Even tho my daughter, Alma Fisher, had cerebral palsy, Alfred taught her to ride horses, and well too. When Alma was in her early 20s Alfred graciously let her use Silver Ranch to give riding lessons to handicapped teenagers. I am a daughter of Alma Estabrook, the mother of Alma Fisher and a grateful admirer of Alfred Sawyer.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Alfred was a part of Southern NH and everuyone who met him even once has lasting good memories of the experience. I first met Alfred in 1966 when Ellen welcomed me as a newcomer to the area and later as Jane and I became close. It wasn't until I reached adulthood that I began to appreciate how great a man he was. Humerous, yes absolutly although I didn't realize it as a young man, Responsible, without a doubt. Always ready with a life lesson for you. He...

Offering our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
