Not sure what to say?

Dick and I worked a summer job together for George Murphy, my brother-in-law, aka City Wide Insulation Company. He was a great workmate, making light of our job of installing very itchy fiber glass batts into the side walls of new homes. Along the way I also learned a lot about history from this well-educated teacher. I was blessed to work with Al Dick Schroeder for four or five summers from 1959 to 1964, in Madison; insulating for his teammate, and my brother-in-law, George Murphy. Sadly, I just now saw his obituary! Very sad to hear about his passing. I was a college student and he was a teacher; no matter, insulation played no favorites, it made everyone itch. He was a wonderful man- very funny. I often have on those 'good old days,' and I will always have fond memories of him. RIP my friend!

I am so sorry for your loss. Dick was 1 of my teachers at Schenk School. In the last few years we reconnected & have a couple photos I will always cherish. I adored him. May you find peace.

I enjoyed my conversations with my neighbor. So very sorry for your loss.
