Al will be missed. I worked with Al in Page, Arizona in 1973 and 1974. He and I tried to make some home brew in my garage using stuff from the local grocery store. We bottled it in used plastic Pepsi bottles. It was pretty nasty stuff.

Al was a great influence on my engineering career. We worked together in Italy for almost 2 years and I learned so much. I lived across the street from him and his wife Gerda in a little town called Lerichi, Italy. We went to the beach a lot, went spear fishing, and rented a cabin together on Lake Garda.
