Alfred was born on June 29, 1932 and passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Alfred was a resident of Keyser, West Virginia at the time of passing. Mr. Smith served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darnell Allen officiating. Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
What a great guy! I met him when I started working at the mill. Last saw him when I took Uncle Lee Reel to the VA 2 yrs ago. Alfred knew him immediately (Uncle Lee had early onset Alzheimers and it took him a while to know who he was.) They joined the USAF together and later worked together at the paper mill. I'm sure they are reminiscing now... RIP sir.
