I have lost a wonderful friend in the passing of Al Stewart. Al and his wife Ruenell were long time members of the Greensboro Coin Club and rarely missed a meeting. And, I have also enjoyed a good friendship with his son, Al, Jr. from our careers in law enforcement.

Al, I was sad to hear of your dad's passing. I know mother will be saddened to hear of his death also. It was a long time ago but I still remember his big wonderful smile. Ruenell, and family. Sorry to hear about Al's passing. I have fond memories of Al's big smile. You all were our landlords when we moved to Greensboro in 1962 and I worked with Ruenell at WPET for several years. Also, I worked with Al Jr. at the P.D. and have the highest respect for "little" Al. May God comfort your family in this saddest of times.
