Alfred “Ray” Thomas, 87, of Little Rock passed away Monday, November 7, 2005. He was a World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Jennie Thomas; brothers, Tom Thomas, E.D. Thomas, Milton Thomas and a sister, Offie Cantrell, all of Little Rock. He is survived by his wife, Mary Thomas; son, Anthony “Tony” Thomas and wife, Darlene; daughter, Regina “Reggie” Baugh; four grandchildren, Avery Thomas and wife Janet, Tracy Campbell and husband, Brian, Mike and Kevin Baugh; four great-grandchildren, Rachel and Cody Campbell, Lance and Sebrina Matthews; two great great grandchildren and one special nephew, Eugene Thomas; three sisters, Jeanette McCumpsey, Juanita Cole and husband Irvin, and Barbara Stripling; brother, Jesse Lee Thomas Jr. and wife Virginia, all of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Great appreciation to Southwest Hospital, Dr. Charles Carttar, Dr. Rollefson and the nurses.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at Ivy Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
