Dear Valerie, Wayne, Leah and Jeff,

As I was driving to the funeral , I realized I probably knew or at least had met your dad /grandfather through Jack Poston, the American Lava personnel manager for years, whose family and mine were very close. I even worked a summer job around the furnaces cutting ceramic rods , I guess for heaters, in the late '50's or early 60's.
