Alfred WIDHOLM

Erik is the son of Alfred and my brother-in-law. Erik married my sister back in 1992. I met Erik's family around the time of the wedding. I was struck by how close his parents were to one another. I was so blessed to know Alf and Anne as my stand in Uncle and Aunt during my years as a missionary kid in Sweden, enjoying many visits in the house he built with his own hands. What an honor it is for me to see how faithfully he has finished his race. My love to the remaining family in the midst great sorrow and great joy. Psalm 23:5

Alf was truly a gentle and kind man. We thank God for every remembrance of him. We are very sorry over what happened to Anne. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and the family.

Alf was one of our teachers at NBI, where I was a student 1972-75. His teaching The Old Testament is still vivid in my mind. And his friendly and kind approach was often a blessing to a struggling student.

My memories of Alf are from Nordiska Bibelinstitutet, where I was a student 1972-1975. Besides remembering his interesting teaching of the Old Testament and The Person of God, it is his kind and friendly approach that stand out. And his lovely family.
A few years ago my husband David and I were able to get together with Anne and Alf in Detroit. So special.
My memories of Alf are dear and precious.
