Not sure what to say?

To the Wiesmeyer family. Al was one of the most approachable teachers at Hibbard elementary school. He was so great with us kids. It probably was because he was our photography teacher at Deborah boys club and he always said you can call me Al. Anyway, just wanted to say what a positive influence he had on us. He was a great guy.

Dear family of Al,
I worked with Al for many years at the Walt Disney Magnet School and spent many days laughing with him, talking with him and walking around the building. It was always a pleasure to see him.He always had a kind word to say. I would like to share the ancient prayer recited by Greek people at the hour of the passing of a loved one, "Memory Eternal." This simple and profound prayer asks GOD to always remember the loved one in his love and grace. That is my prayer for Al....

Cousin Linda--

Sounds like you lost a great guy-- who you will miss... Treasure your good fortune in your choice of spouse.

I guess it was time for your Mom to go. Your Dad was my favorite Uncle on the Levin side.

Mr Wiesmeyer was my 5th grade teacher (in 1964) and he ended my singing career in the most devastating way. It was the Holiday Music Show at Hibbard Elementary School and he asked me to audition for the song, “The 12 Days Of Christmas” and my part was "5 Golden Rings". After my audition for the part, he said in front of the whole 5th grade class. "okay Bonnie, please go back and stand in line and for the rest of the songs please mouth the words". To this day I mouth the words to songs. He was...

My deepest sympathy to the entire Wiesmeyer family! Al taught me photography in a summer school course at Roosevelt High School in 1970. The class was educational and fun and eventually led me to a number of jobs in Commercial Photography among other opportunities to this day. He was a GREAT Teacher and a GREAT Man and will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him!

Dear Linda and Family,

Our deepest condolences to you and your family in this difficult time. Al was such a dear friend of our family. We will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will always remember the joyous times shared with you and Al.

Love,

Rich, Ellen, Nathan, and Stephanie Levin

Howard and Diane Sobel.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time in your lives.

To the Wiesmeyer family, I am a Hibbard school, and Deborah boys club kid. Al made learning fun for all us kids. He used to say I'm Al at the boys club, but Mr. Wiesmeyer at school. We were lucky to have him as a teacher and friend. Our deepest sympathy. Maureen and Dennis Apostol
