Not sure what to say?

Fr Winters was my Dad´s cousin and my Godfather. I have many fond memories of our childhood, spending summers at the cottages in Madison on the Lake. If your wondering how he got the forehead scar, think glass jar and fireworks:-)

I met fr. Winters while my mom was at ennis court. I too was a patient for hip replacement rehab at ennis. He was the sweetest gentle and kind man. He also was a wonderful priest. RIP

Fr. Winters was my favorite Catholic priest. He was my first boss when I worked at St. Clement rectory and he was the best. I was so lucky to get to work there to have gotten to know Fr. Winters and Mrs. Kelly and Fr. Winters' sister Mary. I learned how to make coffee, I got to do my homework on the job, I got to stuff the bulletin with any special announcements for the week. Fr. Winters' sister Mary taught me how to cross stitch and after three years of hard work, I was able to give my mom a...

I have many fond memories of Fr. Winters from his years at Holy Rosary Parish. As children, we always looked forward to the days when Fr. Winters would come into our classroom to speak to us. Fr. Winters also had the kindness and patience to take nearly 50 unruly altar boys on our annual summer excursion to Cedar Point. The man really was a saint. I haven't seen Fr. Winters since he left Holy Rosary, but I often thought of him over the years. I also chuckle every time I think about the...

RIP Father Winters...I am not Catholic , but met Father at his weekly shopping trips to Giant Eagle. I will miss our brief conversations when he went through my checkout line. He was a wonderful person , and will be greatly missed. Sue Keller,

Father Winters was my friend, my leader, and my only priest. We worked together at St. Clement School to keep it open and vibrant until we were able to help create Lakewood Catholic Academy. I remember spending many hours in his office, as he puffed on his pipe and challenged me as a teacher, principal, and Christian and encouraged me to have faith in myself and in God. I loved this man, as a priest, leader and friend. He called me "his sunshine." He was a good man who dedicated his life...

RIP Father Winters. Thank you for many years of service.

Thank you for your service to our father during his years at Ennis Court, your excellent liturgies, and your career serving the Diocese.

"Well done good and faithful servant. Now enter into the joy of your Father's Kingdom"
