Not sure what to say?

My mother was a member of the Miami Senior High School band in the 1940's, graduating in 1945. Mr. Wright had a profound impact on those students, as I imagine he did on all his students throughout his amazing career. Mom was delighted to find information about his 100th birthday online, and her wish, at 90, was that he would outlive her. She passed away in February of this year, at 92 1/2 years of age. My condolences to Glayds and the rest the family!

Al was my cousin. My grandmother and his mother were sisters. I regret that we never had the opportunity to meet in person, however we did speak on the phone. Al was very generous in sharing with me our family history, family stories and photos. I am saddened by his passing and send my deepest sympathy to Gladys, Adele, Cynthia and families.

Gladys, I want to thank you for sharing your passion for music and travel with the aspiring young musicians all over the world. We learned much and have wonderful memories. What a great experience to play under your and Dr. Wright’s baton. You have touched many! Prayers in the upcoming days.

Gladys, Adele and Cynthia, so sorry for your loss. Dick and I had season tickets to the Purdue football games for many years and attended the Rose Bowl in 1967, what wonderful memories. What a blessing Al was to his family, Purdue, and the community. May he rest in peace.
