On May 25th, 2020, Alfreda Gilmore, 94, left this world to join her parents, siblings, and husbands to enjoy the land of eternal happiness, “Camelot.” Alfreda Cecelia Rzezniczek was born December 22, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Polish immigrants. She was a first-generation American who truly lived the American dream. She worked for a short time as a draftsman but spent most of her life caring for her family and living the glamorous life of a socialite. She also shared a passion for interior design, fashion, gardening, family, drafting, sewing and bridge. She spent much of her time with her daughter and grandchildren filling their life with incredible and extravagant stories, surprises, and never-ending love.
Alfreda is preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Mary Rzezniczek, siblings, Mathew Rzezniczek and Monia Novak, her husbands, Harvey St. Vincent and Daniel G. Gilmore. She is survived by her Daughter, Cynthia Lovvorn; Grandchildren, Deidre Capper and Darren Lovvorn; and her 7 great-grandchildren Christina McMurry, Haley Capper, Hannah Capper, Aaron Lovvorn, Ava Lovvorn, Sam Lovvorn, and Van Lovvorn.
