Alfredo Alcocer

So sorry that I just heard of Dr. Alcocer's passing. My condolences to his wife and family. He was truly a wonderful man.

Thanks to Dr A, I was one of his first innermost ear reconstruction. He always hugged me and called me “my LIttle Dorotea “. I still have those implants and today ENTs are amazed if his work. I can hear sing and play instruments today.Wish I could have worked with him in the OR’s of my career.
A wonderful man, friend and surgeon.
His smile will be missed but always in our memories.

I am indebted to Dr. Alcocer for detecting a hearing loss in my son many years ago when he was just 2 or 3 years old as the reason he was not talking. I remember him as a kind, patient doctor with only his patient's interest at heart. We were just talking about him a couple weeks or ago. My son is now 53. Dr. Alcocer left a lasting impression for sure.

I met Dr. Alcocer while my company was doing some work at his home. He and his wife were very nice and friendly people. Having also met Paul a few times in high school I wish to pass on my deepest condolences to him and the rest of the family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to family.
I worked with him at Proctor Hospital.
