Dear Uncle Fred, it was always such a wonderful time when the Fernandes family would come to visit. Our house would really come alive when you all were there. There was good food, good stories, and a lot of laughter. There is a void in the world that no one else will ever be able to fill. I wonder what it feels like, when you first arrive in Heaven and see everything that's waiting for you. I only hope that someday I will find out. And, I'll see you there when I arrive. Pop...how deep the pain is from losing you, I can't even describe how much you will be missed. I will miss our saturday phone calls about "what's for dinner?" and all the stories you told me. There will never be another Freddie, you were one in a million. "Hey Pop.....Hold my hand"

Sweet Freddie!You finally found those roots you have been looking for to dance again with "mama". The "Hippie and I are going to miss you so much!! I miss our weekly talks, sharing recipes,hearing bout your busy every day activities and the family you loved so much. We will miss your sense of humor.
