Our beloved Alfredo Duran Flores, 69, of Midland, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.


Alfredo was born to Ofelia and Amador Flores. He is survived by his loving mother, Ofelia Flores, and preceded in death by his father,  Amador Flores.


Alfredo grew up in Midland, Texas, where he formed lifelong friendships and built a strong foundation for the man he would become. He proudly graduated from Lee High School in 1976, where he also played Varsity football—a memory he carried with pride throughout his life.


He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Alfredo is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rachel Flores.


He leaves behind his children, who were the pride of his heart:


•  Daughters: Venessa Flores (fiancé Jesus Jurado) and Adrienne Flores Puente (husband Rene)


•  Sons: Alfred Flores Jr. and Anthony Flores


His beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth Rico (fiancé Jarrell Hobbs), Isaac Puente, Isabel Rico Rivas (husband Christian), Efrain Rico Jr., Victor Alfredo Rico, Ian Puente, Ella Puente, Javen Flores, Evan Flores, Ariana Puente, Izaiah Flores, and Avayah Puente.


His precious great-grandchildren: Emorie Rivas, Aria Rico, Avorie Rivas, Lilah Puente, and Xialani Puente.


He is also survived by his brothers: Arnulfo Flores, Amador Flores, and Jaime Flores (wife Barbara) And his sisters: Adela Terrazes and Zoila Syne (husband Nazim)


He leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom adored him deeply.


He is preceded in death by his father Amador Flores, and his brothers Rafael Flores, Juan Flores, and Manuel Flores.


Alfredo lived a life full of love, strength, and joy. He loved to joke around, always had a smile on his face, and brought laughter everywhere he went. His grandbabies were his world, and he kept them close to his heart every single day.

Services for Alfredo Duran Flores have been entrusted to Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.

Rosary: 6:00 – 7:00 PM


Celebration of Life: 7:00 PM – ??
