He is survived by 6 brothers, Ruben Hinojosa, Tony Hinojosa, Richard Hinojosa, Jimmy Joe Hinojosa and Ramiro Hinojosa; 2 sisters, Estella Villegas and Mary Helen Hernandez; 15 nieces and nephews and 28 grand nieces and nephews. Family Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in the Hughes Funeral Home - Oak Cliff Chapel, 400 E. Jefferson, Dallas 75203 with the a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.

When you heard a story from Uncle Freddy, you can bet you heard that story many times before. But we still listened and laughed with him. We will carry on that tradition, this time, the stories will be about our dear Uncle Freddy. He loved each one of us very much. If you needed Uncle Freddy he would always be there willing to help out any way he can. Our family has lost a very special person in our lives. But we will always remember him, keep his memory alive and cherish the moments we have...

I will always remember Al as Santa Claus during our annual christmas dinners at Tio Ramiro's and Tia Rosemary's home. Such Great memories. Thank you Sir for being part of my life and the memories of the kids bouncing on your knee as Santa Claus will forever be cherished.
