My condolences to the family. I remember Freddy being driven to play his best behind the plate in that crouched position waiting on that hard ball coming in and hearing the pop of the glove. I know me and the rest of our teammates enjoyed throwing the ball into his glove. I remember watching from the mound as he would frame up the strike zone waiting for that ball to hit its mark. Hearing that he supported his children in the game traveling all over this country with them does not surprise...

I last spoke to Fred in August. We had random chats over the years from funny stuff, to relationships to religion and just life. He was always making me and everyone laff. I am so sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. His presence will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to all who knew him personally. He was such a nice man to me.
