Read MoreI worked for Al on the RSK Dam site in Iran in the late 1970s. Al was an engaging and smart leader. He managed the completion of this project through the tumultuous Islamic Revolution. He was a great mentor to me on what was a very important project in my career. Al was a great boss and friend.

A hard working man, my father dedicated much of his life to large civil engineering projects in foreign lands. I remember so fondly our years spent in El Salvador and Venezuela. Those experiences live on in my memory and as stories for my children. You are missed, Dad.

I worked for Al at RSK Dam in Iran in 1978. Al was the Resdient engineer on the project and was great mentor to me. I recall his intelligence and savvy as a manager, but most of all his great sense of humor and huge laugh.
He will be missed.
