Alice Patricia Smith Andrews was born March 18, 1956 to the late Essex Smith and Claretha Towner Smith. She made her transition into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Mauvilla and a 1974 graduate of C.F. Vigor High School. She leaves to cherish her memories a husband, Robert Andrews; children, Denise (Robert) Martin, Kathy Smith, Michael (Tomikia) Smith, Sr., and Joycelyn (JaVontea) Miller; grandchildren, Timira James, Michael Smith, Jr., Taniyah Smith, Ja'Den Martin, and Jaycee Miller; mother, Claretha Towner Smith; siblings, Mary Miller, Etta (Gregory) Thames, Essie (Sammie) Jenkins, and William (Crystal) Smith; a host of nieces and nephews, two devoted cousins, Clarence (Antonaitt) Grayson and Beverly (Eddie) Ervin, other relatives and friends, two devoted Velma Rice and Linda Reynolds. The visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Mauvilla, AL. Dr. Alphonso Brady Sr., Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mauvilla, AL. Arrangements are entrusted to the careful direction of REESE FUNERAL HOME 925. S. Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL.
