I read with great interest the article in yesterday's Oregonian about Alice Armstrong. I graduated from Grant High School in 1966, and Mrs. Armstrong was my home room teacher my junior year. Of all the teachers I had in both high school and college, Mrs. Armstrong is one whom I have never forgotten. i only knew alice armstrong for a short time ,but in that time she really touched my life i am glad i got those few memories with her she was a wonderful person to be around she found me when ever i got to work and she just made my day my condolences to her family she will be missed very much.
