Mrs. Alice G. Ashline, age 82, died Saturday afternoon, December 27, 2003, in the Starr Farm Nursing Home. She was born in Sheldon March 23, 1921 daughter of the late Emile and Dorothy (Tatro) Lanoue. Alice was employed at the Fonda Container Group and later retired from the Union Carbide Consumer Products in 1980. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She married Lawrence Ashline in 1937. He predeceased her in 1981.
Her survivors include her three Sons and their wives Richard and Noella Ashline of South Burlington, Robert and Evelyn Ashline of St. Albans, Terrance and Katherine Ashline of South Burlington, 5 grandchildren and their spouses Raymond and Tammy Ashline, Laura and Michael Liberty, Anita and Bob Davis, Rick Ashline and his girlfriend Nicole LaBelle and Karen and Steve Mount, several great—grandchildren, a sister Antoinette Baker of Brattleboro and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in Holy Angels Church. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. today. Interment will be in the Ashline family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Franklin County Home Health Agency, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, Vt. 05478.
