Alice Berry

In the early years of your career at NHS, I took your honors English class my senior year. I learned from your expertise, your guidance with my valedictorian speech and appreciated your integrity, honesty and for defending what was right. Thank you so much.

Alice wqs my English teacher but was more like a mother to me. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have realized my potential. She always encouraged her students to achieve their best. I worked on the school literary magazine, The Berry Patch and the newspaper. My love of writing grew under Alice's influence. We stayed in contact over th years. She holds a special place in my heart, and I'll greatly miss her . My heart goes out to Andy, Molly and Rob. You were her greatest love.

Alice was a special lady. She was kind and always caring. We loved the sweet notes she would write us. She will be missed. Her legacy of love will live on through her family. Prayers for comfort and peace to get through this difficult time.
