Even though time passes we still feel deep pain and grief. I pray that the God of all comfort gives you strength during this time.

Mrs Bitterman as I knew her, was my Camp Fire Leader when I was in grade school at Highland Park Elementary. She was a kind, devoted, and wonderful woman who made a real difference in a lot of lives. She was especially good at making those of us who were shy kids feel better about ourselves. I have had no contact with her in over 50 years, but of course could never forget someone who had such an impact on my life. I am sorry she is gone, but happy that she lived a long life. Alice was a neighbor of mine when I was just a little kid. Good for her that she made it until the age of 96! My mother, Carole, is now 94.
