Alice Bunker Obituary
Our Mother, Alice Jeanne Beshears Bunker, left this earth and returned to her Heavenly Father, December 8, 2017. Born April 25, 1939, in Mesa, Arizona to Troy Lee Beshears and Ruth Nuttall. She was the oldest of seven children. She married Glendel Bunker March 7, 1959, in St. George Utah and they had five children, Kirt Bunker (Michelle), Brett Bunker (Jennifer), Lynette Smith (Ray), Chad Bunker (Angel), Jeanne Miller (Randall); she had 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruthie Wilbur and Lois Phipps; and her brother, Howard Vincent.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, three brothers, David Vincent, Rodney Beshears and Ernest Beshears and her oldest son, Kirt.
She loved to read and travel and above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Valley View Funeral Home located at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Kearns LDS chapel located at 5380 West 5400 South, Kearns, at 11:00 am. There will be a viewing prior to the service at 10:00 am at the chapel. Graveside service will follow the funeral at Valley View Memorial Park located next to the funeral home.

As I helped with Relief Society at the Hunter Hollow Care Center, I would always say hello to Alice and tried to ask questions to get to know her better. She couldn't let me know what she was thinking but always had a beautiful smile that went completely to her eyes. I have loved her and wish I'd known her better before she had to be at Hunter Hollow. May you be comforted in her loss.

So many great memories of Alice- Growing up down the street, and being best friends with Lynette we spent a lot of time at each others homes and I was lucky to know such a great Lady. I'll never forget her gray Chevy truck when we we young (it seemed so huge to me) her love for her kids and Grandkids, her love of reading, that Smile and that laugh. ❤ You will be greatly missed Alice. Rest in our Saviors Arms.
