Such sad news. Mitch and I will miss Alice so much. I always admired how self assured Alice was, how clear about her beliefs while being respectful towards me when I held a different belief. I will always appreciate that she gave us roses from her beautiful yard- and long ago, a Dogwood tree that she didn´t like but we loved. And, I will always laugh as I remember Alice´s reaction when someone from the town requested that she become our local school crossing guard. Rest in peace, dear...

Alice: a dear friend and a very classy lady. How I enjoyed our dinners together and sharing the events of our lives - - - hers were always more colorful and noteworthy than mine. My heart is heavy but full of wonderful memories.
