Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege and pleasure of getting to know Alice as I assisted her in selling her remarkable home in Riverdale a few years ago. She was a vital, bright, charming, playful and strong woman. I will always remember her.

The world has lost a gem. We will miss Alice for her intelligence, kindness, wit, hospitality, tolerance, playfulness, creativity, spontaneity, resourcefulness, down-to-earthness, generosity, open-mindedness, and much more. But above all, for her steadfastly liberal heart. No truer moral compass was ever held.
Alice has been like family to us. The Bronx will never seem the same without her.

"No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever." - Francois Mauriac
- You have left us a world of memory, convivial meals in your stately home, home made wines, political passion, love of family, openings to new friends. Ave atque vale, dear Alice - we shall not see your like again. - Susan

Alice was a lovely woman, and I am glad I had the opportunity to know her.
